Arya Niwas is a renovated Heritage Mansion. Parts of it are 100 years old! Spread over 4400 square yards, the hotel offers greenery, peace and wide-open spaces. Just the right stuff to make for a relaxing holiday while being in the center of town, close to the walled city, popular restaurants and shopping areas!

There is a lot to see and savour inside the hotel itself. Large trees, a colony of resident sparrows, lawns and gardens, terraces, sit outs, veranda, wide corridors, interesting, beautiful and sometimes priceless artwork on the walls, 100 year old central lounge with frescoes in natural colours derived from stones / plants, araish (polished limestone) work pillars, a library with books in more than 16 languages, history of family management.. there is a lot to see, explore and discover here!

Front View main building

Once the palace of Raja Saheb Khandela, Chota Pana, Arya Niwas was bought by the current owner family about 43 years back. Extensive renovations followed, before it opened its doors in current form to guests.

Main Garden

Our main garden is a relaxing, rejuvenating place, where you can meet people from around the world. For many of our old timers, a day well spent means relaxing on the lawn, with a favourite book and freshly ground coffee served in a French Press!

Also, do notice the stained-glass work in the arches and the polished limestone pillars.
